Learning Structure
The Girls' School programmes are structured to actively engage the students in the subject matter as creators, teachers and leaders. This helps to further their understanding and ground their knowledge in experience.
Girls proactively engage with the subject matter and teach others at the same time through:
Back-Home Projects – Students play the role of change agents/extension providers to facilitate positive change in their homes.
Community Projects – Students help raise consciousness in the community through music, dance, drama, radio programmes and debates with other schools.
Parents Workshops – Students facilitate end-of-term workshops for their parents/guardians on development topics.
Inquiry-Based Learning Projects – Every term students carry out a project that helps them relate what they have learned in school to their own world. The inquiry is done around a relevant and inspiring central question.
Tell me, and I'll forget.
Show me, and I may not remember.
Involve me, and I'll understand.
